Cardamom Rose Syrup
Cardamom Rose Syrup
This beautiful Cardamom Rose syrup was inspired by the Silk Road, a trade route credited for spreading cultural ideas and goods from East to West Asia. The gorgeous pink hue comes naturally from rose petals. Combing the floral essence of roses with the highly fragrant and complex cardamom spice makes this syrup ideal to use in cocktails or as a sweetener for teas and desserts.
Use within 1 month of purchase. Keep refrigerated for best flavor.

The Nankhatai
Here is my boozy version of the Nankhatai, an Indian shortbread cookie combining cardamom and rose.

0.75 oz Cardamom Rose Syrup
0.5 oz lemon juice
1 egg white
Add egg white to cocktail shaker and shake until foamy. Add the rest of the ingredients and ice to the shaker. Shake until well-chilled. Strain into glass.
The Silk Road
The delicate rose flavor and strong flavored cardamom pods are balanced with the bitter tea.
